String of Burglaries in NY – Let’s Hope These Homes were Insured!

It’s no surprise that the town of Lockport, NY was a victim of robberies last week. The summer is a prime time for such situations to happen, especially if families are away on vacation or long periods of time. According to the WIVB News 4, two teenagers were charged with multiple burglaries. At 16 and 17, the teenagers took a flat screen TV from a motor home and 14 bottles of Coors Lite. The robberies had started on Friday and both were not taken into custody until Sunday when they were found with stolen property still in Lockwood. At least these two were caught and the stolen property was returned. However, hopefully the victims have New York home insurance to cover any damages done to their property!
